Gloating and Floating

Gloating and Floating
Scott David James
circa 2006

Can you find me
In the witches moon
As i swoon and fight
Into this night
The fog has settled
The hunt begins
Darting to and fro
Can you see me glistening
The twilight listens to me, you know
Shadows fall with every step
My grip is strong
Yet you slip clean
Shallow is this murk
This hallowed perk
Love
And still we frolic fleetingly
This dance we share
Beneath the stars and moon
Amidst angels and doom
Gloating and floating
