Wiskwood, The Wallflower’s Way

Wiskwood, The Wallflower’s Way
Scott David James
Circa 2011

Dreams and Fears and don’t delay
Macabre the vintage
Wistful ways
Hefty Grandeur
Did Savage save
Your simple rhythmic mystic plays
You found me faltering
Eclipsing Grave
Led me from my Hollow day

Bombast keening
Wished for dead
Dreading ether
Waiting stead

Holding steadfast Forestall Fate
Wax hypnotic Dulling Sate

Ellipsis language Followed still
Ghostly absence Foreclose my will

Wiskwood wield a moment displaced
A memory fraught Existing space
But it is what we are
What we were has waned
All that remains The Wallflower’s Way
